I am no film buff, but this is one of the (few films) I have ever seen, it is not only hilarious and so clever, but many of the incidents are based on real events in the Mid West, especially Oklahoma. Watch out for Tim Nelson, the dopey little one!

"Absurdly entertaining and witty" (The Guardian) O Brother: not to be missed | | O Brother, Where Art Thou? - a delightfully loopy film. George Clooney is perfect as the fast-taking leader of the escaped-convicts trio searching for a stash of money and encountering a host of strange characters and adventures along the way. Showing this Tuesday - March 19. A "loose adaptation" of Homer's ancient Greek epic The Odessey (!), it's filled to the brim with incredible performances as is typical with Coen films. The next OFS showing (April 2) is a Cold War espionage epic with the excellent Richard Burton (pictured above) the lead in The Spy Who Came In From The Cold. Adapted from spymaster John Le Carre's best-selling novel. | | Film details... - O Brother, Where Art Thou? Tue Mar 19. Rating: 12. 107 mins.
