Whittington Coffee Shop , much more than a cup of coffee

Dear Blogger

Message from Annie Owen who loved her visit to the

WHITTINGTON COFFEE HOUSE  - More than a cup of coffee, more an experience of the Middle East

Following your recent email, my husband and I went to this coffee shop last Saturday morning.

What a delightful place, Abdul is very interesting to talk to. The Syrian coffee with Cardamom is very refreshing and the home-made Baklava is really good – less  sugary-sweet than others.

Just a wee pic of our coffee being made at our table in case you want to advertise again.

Many thanks

Annie Owen (Ruyton-XI-Towns)

May I recommend a very special new café on Whittington which I visited yesterday.

The Whittington Coffee House is run by a lovely young Syrian called Abdul who serves very nice coffee. You Ça choose to try Arabic coffee (with cardamom) or regular coffee.
I recommend you try the delicious baklava made by Abdul's mother.

This small  Coffee House is  located across the road from Whittington Castle and has a wooden sign above the entrance. It is  rather inconspicuous of you don't know about it.
You can either park at Ye old Boot pub car park or at the castle.

I think Abdul deserves to be supported and hope his new venture will succeed.
Thanks for your support and enjoy the coffee!

Béatrice
