Latest on the incident on Platt Bridge thanks to Trevor Alison
The bridge was supposed to be CLOSED on 30th & 31st March
But opened to traffic around 3.30 yesterday afternoon
At some time since the work was completed but the morter not yet set, an HGV managed to hit the new work when turning into Dairi Pak.
The workers arrived this morning and closed half the bridge so cars are getting through when convenient.
And we still have to face the closures in Church Street - Please will someone keep me informed.
