We now have just shy of 150 of you on our mailing list which is great news to know so many are interested in Folk Music and its
promotion and survival in Oswestry and district. On the strength of this we have gone ahead and produced a year long programme of events
which many of you will have received a poster of. For those of you new to our mailing list I have attached another copy.
With 150 on the list it is also only right to point out the current venues we are using, the Oswestry Cricket Club and the Hermon Chapel are limited to 100 capacity
so we advise that it is sensible to get your tickets for the events early so as not to be disappointed. Our next gig is just two weeks away and features the superb
duo of Sound of the Sirens. Tickets for this are selling well so grab yours while you can!
On a separate note Lights Out Events were responsible for the very successful and well supported Wilfred Owen festival in 2025 with Folk Music, Classical Music, Drama and Poetry events etc.
It is hoped (funding application pending) to reproduce this in March 2027. If anybody is interested in helping or being involved in some way please get in touch via our email.
