Many thanks to David Spicer for some very useful information.
EE are working on their mobile phone mast so there is no service for EE users or any other mobile provider
that uses the same mast. They hope normal service will resume by 6pm. They have made a note that when this occurs users should be notified! Meanwhile WiFi calling can be used.
