Dear Blogger
To those very kind friends and neighbours who have asked about our `difficult week` at Brownhill House.
Lots of things came together from B&B bookings, friends coming to stay last week, getting members of ShACC (Shropshire Alternative Car Club) to take over the organising of a car club event and Roger being carted off in an ambulance at 3am on Saturday night after several near fainting episodes - 111 don`t like people falling over and hitting their head.
The ambulance girls were brilliant, not only super efficient but also full of fun to lighten the atmosphere.
They kept Roger in overnight and our friend Brian arrived from Bristol.
Nothing has stopped Rog eating like a horse (or eating a horse) but it has all left him feeling a bit fragile. We await more tests.
The Good bit is, in the last two days our friend Brian and I have built the new fruit frame, with Roger as foreman, checking our work. Life is never dull at Brownhill House.
Many many thanks to members of ShACC and those concerned people on the mailing list who have written in with concerns, what would I do without you all.
Love, thanks & best wishes to everyone,
Yoland
