A complete old fashioned town within one hall
A whole host of festive entertainment is in store for shoppers at Shrewsbury’s award-winning Market Hall this Christmas.
On Friday DEC 7 - children from Wilfred Owen Primary School Choir will be performing a mix of Christmas favourites old and new at the venue from 2pm.
On Saturday DEC 8 mixed-voice choir Of One Accord will be stopping off at the market as part of their Christmas season of concerts from 1pm.
On Saturday December 15th the festive programme continues when the Phoenix Singers, who specialise in baroque and modern styles, perform from 10.30am until 11.30am.
And from 12noon until 1pm the Mere Singers will be performing a mix of acapella music.
On Wednesday December 19th Jigsaw Sound choir will be joining the market traders for some festive fun, performing a combination of old and new favourites and unusual Christmas carols and songs.
On Saturday December 22nd will bring the Market Hall’s Christmas programme to a close when Shrewsbury Samaritans will be performing.
Kate Gittins, site facilities manager at the market said: “We are delighted to be welcoming some of Shropshire’s best choirs and vocal harmony groups to help us get into the festive spirit at the Market Hall this Christmas.”
