The National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA) has launched its annual Market of the Year awards, which includes a category for Britain’s Favourite Market.

 

Online voting for Britain’s Favourite Market is now open at www.nabma.com and customers are being urged to support Shrewsbury Market Hall in its bid to be crowned the best in Britain.

 

 The results of the awards, will be announced on January 31.

 

Mike Cox, Outdoor Recreation & Assets Manager for Shrewsbury Town Council, which runs the canopied section of the indoor Market Hall, said: “We are very proud of our market which offers a diverse mix of local and fresh produce and is valuable community asset.
