Canal Festival

Grandaughter Elsa and I went to this event this morning and had a really super day out.  We can both highly recommend it.  Loved all the live music and the WoW factor - children pay £1 and go round the stalls doing all sort of craft activities.

Loads of stalls, narrow boat `shops` (yes really) fairground rides and much much more.

Children pick up a passport and make your way round the field having a go at
Making a Fog Horn, Weaving, Blacksmithing, Peg Looming, Make a paper Lace Plate, a wooden Bedroom Sign, A Ribbon Plate, build a Model Bridge and do a Duck Quiz.

Sadly, you have probably missed Libby Gliksman singing in the huge bar area tonight.

Go along tomorrow & look out for the Maesbury Canal Festival in 2015.
