Conference facilities in Shrewsbury

Message from Luke Neal,

An update about conference facilities at Shropshire Wildlife Trust centre in Shrewsbury, in the old Abbey infirmary and beautiful gardens opposite the Abbey:

 http://www.shropshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/-conference-facilities

We can now also provide the garden room (once known as the Darwin room) for workshops and training and ID courses.

For outside organisations and artists the offer is as follows:

The Garden room – wonderful heated self contained space over looking the wildlife garden.

Tea and coffee throughout the day

Advertising (each workshop would be added to our events programme and advertising on our website and in our events brochure)

Booking and administration

Use of the garden (for sketching, painting, green wood or willow working or bee ID to name but a few)

Workshops could be all day 10-4 or a half day 10-12.30 or 1.30-4.00 with sessions being run in 10 week blocks, every month or seasonally (4 a year). The cost of this would be £45.00 for a half day or £85.00 for a full day, this price is negotiable depending on the number of workshops sessions and the price per person for each workshop. Maximum number per workshop would be 12.

If you know of anyone that would be interested, please feel free to pass this on to them.

 Kind regards,

 Luke Neal, Community Officer,
