Planning application approved

The application to build seven double boarding kennels to house dogs near Platt Bridge has been approved:-

The decision was taken by officers under delegated powers, despite strenuous efforts by both Ruyton XI Towns Parish Council and Baschurch Parish Council to insist that the decision should be taken by the North Planning Committee so that villagers could have their say in a public forum. Our efforts were well supported by our Shropshire Councillor, but sadly to no avail on this occasion.
