THE MAILING LIST

Last Monday, 20th October, I sent out the message below, asking people to reply by today, 27th October.  I have had some lovely replies from people who really appreciate receiving the emails with news and information about what is going on in the area.

However,  I have only had 92 replies from the 200 people on the list!!!!

This is extremely annoying when you consider there are people who have been waiting for months to be able to join the list!!!!

I will extend the deadline until 6pm on Wednesday, after which I will delete any anyone on the Mailing List who has not replied.

Hi everyone,

The mailing list, which started in such a small way back in 2008 to send out updates on plans for the Charter celebrations, has now grown to 200 people, with messages being sent on an unbelievable number of subjects and enquiries.

However, times change, and I would like to make the circulation list available to a lot more people in Ruyton and the Eleven Towns, Baschurch, Weston Lullingfields and the Nesses - there is already a waiting list. 

Please can you tell me:-
    1. if you have received this email?
    2. Do you wish to continue being part of the Mailing List?       
    3. Have you found the Mailing List useful?
    4. In what way have you found it useful?
    5. Your telephone number - There have been occasions when this would have been useful.

Please can you reply to these questions by Monday 27th October.

If you have not replied by that date I will remove your name from the Mailing List.
