Restaurants stage Spanish Flamenco and French Christmas themed events
Two of Shrewsbury Market Hall's popular restaurants are staging continental themed evening events in the run up to Christmas.
On Thursday December 10 and Thursday December 17 tapas restaurant Cafe AleOli will transform into a Spanish taverna for two flamenco evenings with live music and a three-course dinner.
On Saturday December 19 The Bird's Nest Café is holding 'A Christmas in France' themed special four-course dinner with live music.
Frances O'Shea, of Café AleOli, said: "The restaurant will transform into a Spanish taverna with dimmed lighting and checked tablecloths. Flamenco group Synergy will be providing the music."
Traditional French dishes will be on the menu at The Bird's Nest Café, including Coq au vin and tarte tatin. Both events are by ticket only, available from each restaurant.
