Many beautiful May gardens are ready to open their gates to visitors in the coming days as part of the National Garden Scheme in Shropshire, raising money for cancer and nursing charities including Macmillan, Marie Curie, Hospices UK and many other important causes.
Enjoy wandering round a beautiful Shropshire garden, have a home-made tea and go home with a home-grown plant, all in aid of these vital charities. More information on the National Garden Scheme can be found at www.ngs.org.uk or following the links below to individual gardens.
Open on Friday 18th May & Saturday 19th May (1-6pm):
Ruthall Manor, Ditton Priors, nr Bridgnorth, WV16 6TN: striking borders, beautiful pond, gorgeous trees, home made teas, jigsaw puzzles for sale - a lovely day out for all the family, including well-behaved dogs!

Wollerton Old Hall, Wollerton, Market Drayton, TF9 3NA: a special opening for the National Garden Scheme of these nationally-acclaimed beautiful gardens absolutely brimming with colour in May.
