A firm favourite with National Garden Scheme visitors is the eclectic garden at Brownhill House, Ruyton XI Towns (between Shrewsbury & Oswestry); open on Tuesday 30th April (1.30-5pm); unique 2 acre hillside garden, masses of spring planting and many humorous features. The garden can be enjoyed from the upper levels but the lower garden is reached by many steps and changes of level down to the River Perry.
