Message from Qube in Oswestry.
Welcome to our new courses programme! We hope you enjoy the creativity and wellbeing events we have lined up for you.
We are excited to introduce a number of new tutors and speakers. Environmental artist and winner of the Qube Arts Open, Tim Pugh will immerse us in his natural world, Wirral based Ian Fennelly guides us in vibrant pen and wash and Judith Farnworth in watercolour. We welcome Ludlow Letterpress artist, Dulcie Fulton with her wonderful adana printing press and Emily Wilkinson, artist and poet shows us how to create unique and beautiful art books.
Qube is proud to be taking part in this year's Big Draw Festival. Check out special events, including Zen Calligraphy and 'First Time' Life Drawing. New for autumn is a series of evening events, including Fetch Theatre Company, seasonal poetry with Suzanne Iuppa and Chris Kinsey and a fascinating series of art history lectures by Sarah Gathercole.
We're encouraging you to get crafty this Christmas with Qube's festive workshops. Why not make a funky teapot or personalised tile as a gift? And finally, to keep you feeling positive, balanced and focused we have wonderful tuition in tai chi, yoga, pilates, mindfulness and herbal remedies.
Our events programme helps fund Qube's services including Arts, Dial-a-Ride, Tuesday Social Club, Befriending, Home Shopping and Volunteering.
