Is anyone interested in butterflies? Can you help? This year there is a plan to carry out a butterfly survey on the Cliffe. The idea is to identify and count the species seen during a a 45 minute walk around a set route. The walk will be repeated weekly throughout the season so it would be good to find a few people who could take part, either independent because they are confident to do this, or with others to learn more. Full instructions and recording sheets will be given with everything explained. The results will be compared to previous surveys, uploaded to a national database, and used to help decide on conservation management for the future. Please contact me if this interests you.
