Gardens for the National Gardens Scheme open this week

HM the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend is almost upon us and we have a wonderful selection of gardens for you to enjoy over the weekend.

There was just one tree in the garden when the current owner purchased The Gardener's Lodge, the ground having been cleared, ready to sell as a building plot. However the owner had other plans for it: the garden is now eclectically divided, arranged and planted into areas: Mediterranean, Cottage, Indian etc but, seamlessly, each section merges and leads into the next developing idea.  Read more about Amanda's very special garden here

What better way to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee  than to host a garden party for friends, family and neighbours?
We're inviting everyone, it doesn't matter whether your garden is large or small, tidy or untidy – it's a place for enjoyment.  This celebratory event gives us all an opportunity to share our gardens whilst raising funds for vital nursing and health charities.  Your garden party could be afternoon tea and cakes, prosecco by candlelight, a coffee morning and book swap or even a plant and produce sale by the front gates – the choice is yours and everyone can get involved.  Find out more here.
