Break for the Borderlands - Jubilee 2022 | | We are very excited about events in Oswestry and the Borderlands to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. It will be a nostalgic weekend of steam trains, sandcastles and brass bands in the park with a Shropshire twist. Shropshire is England's biggest inland county and yet there will be sandcastles galore when we create a beach right in the centre of town! Add a market fun day with Morris dancers, a brass band in the park, afternoon tea and a boat trip over a World Heritage Site and you will be ready to celebrate the Queen's special anniversary in true Oswestry style. | | The seven best things to do in Oswestry and The Borderlands on Jubilee Weekend. - Spend a day at the beach in Oswestry.
- Come along to a family fun day at the market.
