An invitation to local Arts and Sports groups to apply for funding from the Mary Hignett Bequest Fund - as administered by Oswestry Rotary Club.
Oswestry author and naturalist Mary Hignett left part of her estate to be administered by Oswestry Rotary Club for the benefit of local arts and sports groups.
Each year the Club invites applicants to submit requests to be considered for funding by the Club - this year's closing date is Friday 18th October - not long now.

Once the application form has been completed it should be sent to rotarycluboswestry@gmail.com by the CLOSING DATE of November 18th 2022.
St John the Baptist CE Primary School, Ruyton was a successful applicant to the fund a year or so ago and received help in buying a new shed but I wonder whether RATs or the Village Hall Committee can identify an item that they are in need of? Or any other suitable local group?
You never know - it might help get somebody's project over the line?
