Message from Lydia Bardsley, Ruyton XI Towns Parish Clerk.
JOIN RUYTON XI TOWNS PARISH COUNCIL!
New deadline for applications: 9pm FRI 24TH FEB 2023
There is still one vacant seat on Ruyton XI Towns Parish Council and we'd love to hear from anyone who is interested in tackling local issues and helping the community thrive. Parish Councils are often the first port of call when there is something that needs addressing within the parish, and we deal with all sorts of matters affecting parishioners, including planning, environmental issues, streetlighting and road safety, policing, public transport, community defibrillators, and much more. We also work closely with and support a range of local organisations, such as St John's primary School, the Village Hall Committee, the Basnett, Mathews, and Minton Trust, and others.
The application form is also attached, and these should be returned directly to the clerk by the deadline of 9pm on Fri 24th February 2023. More info about what the Parish Council does can be found on this news article on the Parish Council website and you are also very welcome to get in touch for an informal chat (contact details are on the attached advert). You can also read about the other Councillors here.
Kind regards,
Mrs Lydia Bardsley
Clerk to Ruyton XI Towns Parish Council
