Not everyone may have seen the Notice wrapped around the pole outside St John the Baptist C of E Primary School on Church Street.

It concerns the erection of an 11 metre ( 36 feet) steel pole outside the school.

 

The Notice says:

 Located at OUTSIDE ST JOHN THE BAPTIST PRIMARY

                     SCHOOL, RUYTON XI TOWNS SY4 1LA

 This is to inform you that Freedom Fibre Ltd will Hereby Give Notice to

     LOCAL COUNCIL                                                                                           12/9/24

 That it intends to install a Fibre Broadband Pole/s Pursuant to the Town and County

Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as Amended) and the Electronics

Communications Code (Conditions and Regulations) 2003 (as Amended)

The obligation for telecoms companies is to display a "Regulation 5" notice detailing the proposed telegraph poles on nearby street furniture (such as lighting columns) 28 days before their planned installation
