Picnic in the Playing Field

A bit further away but if the weather is good this will be a fun afternoon out - and might give us some ideas for celebrating Ruyton`s village playing field!

Sunday 2^nd September

GARDEN CLUB SUMMER PICNIC

1 pm onwards on Trefonen Playing Field

(Please bring chairs or rugs with your picnic)

Followed by LAUNCH OF TREFONEN PLAYING FIELD

1 pm Family Treasure Hunt

2.15 Launch

2.30 Football Match: Veterans v Trefonen

During the afternoon      Stalls      Heritage walks

Photo competition     Displays       Bar and refreshments

Trim Trail                      BBQ / Hog roast (from 3.30 pm)

 

As the Garden Club has not been able to run the Summer Social this year, we hope members will support the events celebrating the Launch of the new Trefonen Playing Fields and other facilities and improvements.

The Programme for the afternoon is outlined above. Bring your picnic to the grass area towards the rear of the Hall.

Parking: the new car park and the Village Hall car park have been assigned to stall holders, exhibitors and official guests, so please park on the field on Chapel Lane which has been set aside for the purpose. A gate from the field opens almost opposite the new car park
