Prof. Heinz Wolff on Care4Care

Professor Heinz Wolff will be coming to Shrewsbury next week to tell us about his Care4Care pilot scheme which he has been running in the Isle of Wight.  Perhaps you heard him talk about it on Newsnight recently.

The scheme allows younger people to look after older people and earn Care Vouchers which they bank.  Then, when they are old, they can claim the hours back as people caring for them.  (I think he will explain it a bit better than that!!) 

 

Professor Wolff is giving a seminar in the Shropshire Education & Conference Centre (at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital) on Tuesday, 16th October from 9.30 – 1pm.  There is no entry fee AND you get a free lunch(!) but you have to book (so they can order enough lunch.)
