Local Charity Market, Oswestry

Message from David Clough, Oswestry Market.

Come and grab a bargain this Friday and support the great local charities.  Everyone is welcome

Local Charities go to Market

Local charities will be out on the streets of Oswestry, thanks to a joint initiative by community hub, Qube and Oswestry Town Council.

The Charity Market, taking place at the Bailey Head on Friday 6th June, is an opportunity for people to find out what local charities are doing in the area. There will be goods and gifts on sale from the many charity stalls including Greyhound Rescue, Lake Vyrnwy RSPB, CHUMS, Healthwatch, Severn Hospice and Tanant Valley Light Railway.

The event is taking place as part of Volunteer Week, a national, annual celebration to thank the many thousands of volunteers across the country for the huge contribution they make in their local communities.
