Re: LADS November production
Since Debbie Glenn has announced her production for February 2015, I thought maybe I should tell everyone about a new play about Wilfred Owen, to be produced in November this year. It’s provisionally titled The Forester’s House, because that’s where Owen spent the last night of his life, and is about that night and the following morning, when he died.
It has a minimum cast of 8 men, aged between 17 and about 50, plus of course the usual backstage crew needed. There is a possibility - and that’s all at the moment - of performing it at or near Plas Wilmot, where Owen was born and lived till he was 4 years old. Otherwise it will be performed at Llanymynech and we hope in Oswestry.
