Family Day at NS College, Oswestry

This event is being held at the Oswestry Campus - presumably the Walford exotic reptiles will be bussed to the site.

North Shropshire College to Hold Family Festival

Sunday 12th July -Oswestry Campus, opposite the cattle market.


There will be many activities on offer from the various subject areas of the College such as meeting Walford Campus' exotic reptiles; an Art Exhibition and Hair and Beauty Pamper Sessions. There will be food available from the College's teaching restaurant, Scholars, and the College Café as well as an Indian Cookery demonstration.

The event is in association with British Ironworks, who will be bringing all things yellow to the event to celebrate the College's new colours, the Shropshire FA will also be holding a Football Tournament and there will be live music from local bands.
 
There will be many 'have-a-go' activities taking place, such as archery; welly-wanging; air rifle shooting; hula hooping; a sack race; 3-legged race and mini tennis. Craft stalls will also be open and available, entrance will be free and there will be a collection going to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

There is still time to apply for courses starting in September, we are especially interested in applications for courses in Access to HE, Outdoor Adventure Sports, Fashion and Performing Arts. There is an Advice and Guidance day at NSC's Oswestry, Walford and Shipley Campuses on Wednesday 2nd September 4pm to 8pm.
 

Launch of New NSC Website


NSC has launched its new website, adding to the re-brand process which started in April, the new website features an improved application system for full and part time courses. The new website can be visited at www.nsc.ac.uk.
