We'll explore views of nature at small and larger scales, trying out designs that work well for the medium of tapestry weaving – think colours, think shapes. And then it'll be time to start translating your  chosen view of nature into a small woven piece that you'll be able to take home with you at the end of the day.

Block Printing with Drusilla Cole
Saturday 27th June, 10am to 4.30pm
This deceptively simple technique uses Scratch Foam to produce prints on paper or card to create a look similar to Linocuts, but without the effort. It is suitable for beginners and improvers and interesting results can be achieved very quickly without the use of a press.
Colours may be layered one on top of another  and the medium also looks stunning used for strong black and white designs.
£45 including all materials.
Please bring an apron and ideas or photos to work from.

Make your own and take is home.
