Two messages from Colin Case.

1.    Remember you can see Parish Council Newsletters here:-https://rxitpc.blogspot.co.uk/
Cheaper than printing paper copies and better for the environment.

2.    Good progress being made by the team who are cutting back the vegetation along the B4397 between Baschurch and Ruyton to restore the width of the pavement.

Due to finish on Friday.
A bit later than promised, but better late than never!

BRING BACK THE LENGTHMAN! On roads, lengthsmen were responsible for a few miles between adjacent villages and sometimes their duties encompassed the village itself. Employed by local parish councils, their job was, inter alia, to keep grass and weeds down in the verge, keep drainage ditches clear, and sometimes repair fences.
