Around and About Knockin & Ruyton XI Towns
A plastic covered two sided map which covers
Ruyton (almost as far as the Old Bridge Inn), Grigg Hill, Wykey & Pradoe. The Cliffe, Hopton and Nesscliffe Hills. Some of West Felton, and across the A5, Maesbury Marsh, Woolston (St. Winifred`s Well), Knockin, (Lady Ida`s Well) Kinnerley, Edgerley, Maesbrook & Wernlas.
The maps are at a scale of 1:16,000 - rather bigger scale than my old Explorer 240,and are designed not only for walking but also cycling and driving down small country roads.
Explanation notes include Public rights of way, Other public access, Heights, and how far you travel at a moderate walking place and a brisk pace.
All this fits into a little plastic cover measuring 15x9.
The maps may be on sale in Ruyton but I have not seen them or received any publicity for them.
