Anyone still stuck with slow internet?

Message from Colin Case.

Race to Infinity fibre internet didn't reach everybody.

So some may be left with less than 2Mbs.

This message from 4g-internet.co.uk might help?

Seems expensive unless you qualify for a grant.

Dear Ruyton-XI-Towns Parish Council,

We'd just like to stress that the email we sent you recently regarding our 4G broadband services in your area was absolutely not some mere piece of speculative marketing.

We simply thought it would be worth your knowing the following incontrovertible facts:-

·         We have recently installed fast 4G broadband at the property of one of the residents living in your parish at postcode SY11 4HA.

·         That resident is now benefiting from broadband speeds running at 72.12 Mbps.

·         We helped that resident apply for and receive a government Better Broadband subsidy, meaning that the equipment, set-up and installation of their new 4G broadband service was entirely free, saving them £380.

Nowadays, we all know that having access to fast broadband is a topic of high interest to everyone. Given that within your parish, there are almost certain to be other neighbouring residents and/or small businesses who a) also suffer from poor broadband and b) would also qualify for a government subsidy, we firmly believe that it is well worth bringing the above real-world and very local example to your attention. Or to put it more simply, we're sure that other parish residents would at least like to hear about the above.

Currently, any premises with broadband speeds of less than 2Mbps is eligible for a subsidy under the UK Government's BDUK Better Broadband Scheme, to which we are a fully approved supplier. If an applicant is eligible, this will result in their 4G broadband service being set up and running at no cost whatsoever. And if they're not eligible, there's no commitment to anything at all. However, the Better Broadband Scheme is due to expire at the end of this year, so if interested,  it's important to act sooner rather than later.

If you would like more information on the above, we will be more than happy to talk things through with you – just reply to this email or call us on 03333 447706. You might also want to take a look at our website at www.4g-internet.co.uk and especially at www.4g-internet.co.uk/subsidy-schemes.

We look forward to hearing back from you and best regards,

Robin Carver
