Summer is officially here! Time to get out and about in our beautiful county and visit a National Garden Scheme garden at the height of its summer beauty.  Thank you to all our supporters for making this year, so far, such a successful one for the charity.

THE OLD VICARAGE
Vicarage Road, Clun, Craven Arms, SY7 8JG

Open for the first time for the National Garden Scheme on Saturday 8th June (2-6pm) A lovely revived vicarage garden  with a wealth of features and interesting plants plus a beautiful wisteria allee underplanted with alliums - beautiful.  Teas next door in the village hall in aid of St George's church.
HARGROVE
Wall Under Heywood, Church Stretton, SY6 7DP

Opening for the first time for the National Garden Scheme on Sunday 9th June (1-6pm).  Beautiful estate garden with ancient woodland, lake with swans (and this year's cygnets!) and orchard; roses, herbs and herbaceous borders around the house, pretty rill and water features plus walled soft fruit garden.  Teas served in pretty cottage in the grounds
HODNET HALL GARDENS
Hodnet Hall, Market Drayton, TF9 3NN

Open on Sunday 9th June (11-5pm) for a special opening for the National Garden Scheme.  One of Shropshire's most beautiful gardens covering 60 acres with a great variety of flowers, trees and shrubs; lakes and streams and walled garden; a wonderful place to visit and the highlight of any visit to Shropshire.
MORVILLE HALL GARDENS, 
Morville, nr Bridgnorth, WV16 5NB
Open on Sunday 9th June (2-5pm): a group of gardens surrounding Grade I listed mansion (not open: National Trust); all very different styles and planting; includes the Dower House, famous for its horticultural history and exquisitely planted borders. A delightful place to spend a Sunday afternoon for all the family, including well-behaved dogs.

Sunday 2nd June: Edge Villa, Edge nr Yockleton, Shrewsbury, SY5 9PY: open 2-5pm; over 200 plants for sale
Sunday 2nd June: 2 School Cottages, Hook-A-Gate, Shrewsbury, SY5 8BQ: open 1-5pm; ú50 B&Q voucher to be won.
These two gardens are only 5 miles apart: why not visit both?
Sunday 2nd June: Windy Ridge, Church Lane, Little Wenlock, Telford, TF6 5BB; open 12-5pm.
