The Sky tonight astronomy with Karen

Dear Blogger

Message from the Hampstead Observatory forwarded by Karen in Little Ness

Although we cannot open the observatory you can still enjoy astronomy with naked eye and binoculars if you have some. Venus continues shine brightly toward the west and tonight will be passing through the Pleiades cluster which are best viewed through binoculars. Due to the dramatic fall in pollution the skies are much clearer or in astro terms very good transparency. You can find out more about Venus here and there is a kids friendly zone too which could make a nice little project to work on https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/venus/overview/
