Where have I been? I will explain

Dear Blogger

Yesterday I sent out two messages in the morning and each time 30 hotmail addresses were returned. I have to say, this made me very cross but I was busy, so waited until I had calmed down and Roger had time to, hopefully, sort it out.

1911 Ruyton People 2020

Many thanks to all those who have responded to the questionnaire.

As we are all stuck at home `for the duration` as they said in the war, please can I ask you again to take part in this important piece of local history research - IT`S NOT DIFFICULT.

If you have not done so before, please can I ask you to complete the details below of everyone in your household - Names and emails will not be made public, we just want to know what work you do (or did) and any voluntary work you do, especially at the difficult time - and that is not difficult either!

We just want to compare the work done by people in the village today compared with the 1911 census.

Many thanks to all those who have returned the questionnaires for the Ruyton People project.  We include, Wykey, Coton, Shotatton, The Cliffe and Platt Bridge as part of our community.

Perhaps if we make it all much simpler, we can get everyone on board.  Just reply to this email answering the following questions for all adults, including students, in your household.

NAME
EMAIL
MAIN OCCUPATION
    other current occupations
Do you work from home or travel to work?
Are you RETIRED?
YOUR PREVIOUS JOB
VOLUNTARY WORK

Voluntary work includes WI, Village Hall, Garden Club, History Club, or any other committes or voluntary work out of the village.

At this difficult time, please add voluntary home deliveries, etc connected to the Coronavirus, this will add a new dimension to the survey.

IT`S NOT DIFFICULT!

Many thanks, Yoland
