Qube newsletter for September

Dear Blogger

Message from Qube, Oswestry.

Latest news and updates from Qube

Hello from us all at Qube...

Welcome to our September newsletter!

We have lots of arts activities on at the moment, including exhibitions, workshops and projects. Our course programme is growing each week. We currently have a range of printing workshops, Tai Chi and Life Drawing classes available. We have an exciting new project starting for young people interested in music starting soon. This will be led by musician James Hickman who performs in the UK and Europe as part of "Hickman and Quinn", "Dan Cassidy Swing Quartet" and "James Hickman and Dan Cassidy".

Our hot meal delivery service, with OsNosh, is still providing meals, grocery boxes and support to vulnerable people living locally. We are now in urgent need of help to keep this service going. Take a look at our video online to find out about how this service supports members of our community.

We have recently welcomed two new young people to our team under the Kickstart scheme. Sam will be working alongside out Arts department and Freya will be joining as a Reception and Admin assistant. If you would like to join our team we are looking for volunteers to join us on Dial-a-Ride and at our social groups. Get in touch if either of these roles are of interest to you.

Please feel free to call or email us if we can help you or someone you know. You can contact us on 01691 656882 or email info@qube-oca.org.uk.

Here is some of our latest news and services...

Lateral Flow Tests
Did you know you can pick up Lateral Flow Tests from Qube? You don't need to have symptoms or a particular reason to pick up a testing kit. Testing just a couple of times a week can help to ensure people are not spreading the virus asymptomatically. Ask at reception for your kit. Full instructions are provided.
