Message from Anita White, Home Grown Show co-ordinator.
Thanks to everyone who supported our Home Grown Show 2021
Everybody was pleased that it went ahead, having missed out last year due to Covid19. As you would expect people were cautious and that was reflected in some of the categories being slightly down. But the quality of the exhibits was very high.
The judges were again full of praise for the quality of the exhibits especially in Floral Art and Fruit and Veg where joint first prizes were awarded as they couldn't be split.
Monies raised will go towards the upkeep and vital maintenance work required on our 107-year-old Village Hall. Recent works have included new fire doors and the replacement of the Main Entrance doors.
Names of our sponsors and donors were displayed in the Hall on the day and will be acknowledged in next year's programme with our thanks.
