The vaccination team will be in the Shropshire Local unit on the top floor of the centre on Saturday between 9am and 5pm. You can get 1st, 2nd, 3rd and booster doses. Children aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent or carer to give consent. A list of all other walk-ins in Shropshire is available here. The change comes in on 17 Jan People self-isolating with COVID-19 will have the option to reduce their isolation period after five full days if they test negative on day 5 and 6, and do not have a high temperature. The changes come into effect from Monday 17 January. People who are still positive on a Lateral Flow Test must stay in isolation until they have had two consecutive negative LFTs taken at least 24 hours apart. The Government says this will support essential public services and keep supply chains running over winter. Read the full guidance here. Over 84.5% of eligible adults across the county have now received their COVID-19 booster jab. This puts Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin well above the national average. It follows a monumental effort from all involved over the past three to four weeks, including over the Christmas 2021 period, where many people have given up their time to deliver the vaccine rather than spend it with their loved ones.
