Latest news and updates from Qube Hello from us all at Qube... Happy New Year! We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2022. All our services are back running as normal so please get in touch if there's anything we can help you with. To start the new year we have a brand new exhibition by printmaker Michelle Woodward. Michelle was the winner of the Qube Arts Open People's Choice prize in 2021. A collection of her work will be on display in our main gallery until 14th February. We have added new courses to our website! Starting soon are a series of silversmithing workshops with Amy from Rustic and Wild and an Introduction to Watercolour course with Joseph Schneider. We still have a few spaces on our popular Art History course with Sarah Gathercole starting next week. More courses and workshops will be added over the next few weeks so please keep an eye on our website for updates. Are you a keen photographer? Our annual photography competition and exhibition returns for 2022. The theme this year is 'Identity'. There's a £100 Best in Show prize and a £20 People's Choice prize! The under 16s winner will receive a selection of art materials. Deadline for entries is 12th February. Full details and entry forms can be found here... Courses and Workshops We've added more courses and workshops to our website. There are a few places left on our Art History, Introduction to Watercolour and Silversmithing courses starting new week. Get Creative We've added more free activities to our website to help everyone stay creative at home. These activities have been commissioned for us by artists from across the country. All are free to use and download. Get inspired and take a look at all the creative ideas here...   Thinking of volunteering? Qube's Volunteer Centre can help you find a voluntary role to match your needs. We also provide free advertising for charity, social enterprise or community group organisations who need volunteers. Further details can be found here... Are you an artist or maker? We're always keen to hear from anyone looking to sell their work with us. Throughout the year Qube has a small shop selling handmade items, from jewellery, textiles and woodwork to ceramics, cards and prints. If you would like information on how to display in our gallery shop, please contact us at art@qube-oca.org.uk. We urgently need your help! During lockdown in 2020, Qube and OsNosh joined forces to provide weekly hot meals to vulnerable members of the community. We're now in urgent need of donations to keep this service going.
