A message from Shropshire Council that Coton Hill is closed for emergency road works (time-scale uncertain) as a sewer has apparently collapsed (see Shropshire Council website homepage). It may affect the timing of bus services.

Coton Hill has NOT been closed but the permanent traffic lights have been switched off and temporary ones covering well over 100 metres down Coton Hill installed instead. Work was actually taking place in the roadway near the Barber's shop! How long it will take I have no idea, and there will obviously be queueing during the rush hours.
