| The Oswestry Film Society is back, and we're starting 2024 with a bang - The Greatest Showman, best enjoyed on the big screen.

Follow that! The first year "under new management" has proved a huge success for the Oswestry Film Society.
In all, 25 films, plus special guests live - TV & radio star Alistair McGowan, international director Matthew Bauer, and Harry (brother of 007 Daniel) Craig.
Add in a choir, two drama groups, and up close and personal with a rock band - quite a first 12 months!
We've shared a deliberate mix of screenings - comedy, drama, thriller, documentary, classics, revivals, anniversary-showings, overlooked movies....

So: 2024. Here's how we're starting: - Jan 16: The Greatest Showman (PG) - a showbiz visionary
- Feb 6: American Hustle (15) - a scandal and a sting.
- Feb 20: Hope And Glory (PG) - Brit comedy about boyhood and the Blitz.
Films shown 7.30pm first and third Tuesdays of the month at our host venue, Oswestry's Kinokulture cinema. Comfy seating, a cafe and bar, the big-screen experience, and a great social atmosphere! | |
