Message from Whittington Music Festival
IT`S TIME TO BUY YOUR TICKETS!
Buy your festival tickets Tickets go on general sale this coming Thursday February 1st, online at www.whittingtonmusicfestival.org.uk/booking-information/ as well as at Rowanthorn and in Whittington Post Office. Tickets for the Family concert plus Jazz on Saturday afternoon cost £15 and for the other concerts £19, with under 26s admitted free to everything. If you intend to buy a Festival Pass, price £76 (a saving of £15) you have until Thursday February 15th to do this. Passes are only available online. | | | Help needed! We are urgently looking for someone to work out the logistics of getting musicians to and from Bronygarth and Whittington over five days. You need to have an eye for detail and be able to use Google docs, but the good news is that you will have help from Jude Greaves and will be rewarded with free tickets. The task should take 10 hours in total, from mid-February until the festival week in May. New supporters are always welcome too! | | | Fundraising concert The Scholars and Gentlemen chamber choir will give a concert in support of the Festival on Saturday March 23rd at 7:30pm in Whittington Church. Tickets £12 from Rowanthorn or on the door. Bar available. | | | The Dream of Gerontius Cantiones join Chester Bach Singers and Chester Philharmonic Orchestra to perform this glorious work in Chester Cathedral on 2nd March, conducted by Martin Bussey
