This list came from a friend and I have asked to be put on the Boathouse mailing list so I can publicise their events.

Welcome to the new Ellesmere Boathouse Newsletter. We have been busy making lots of little changes here by the Mere which we hope you'll like, so we thought it was about time we let you know about them. The Restaurant is as busy as ever and includes a brand new menu as well as an ever changing list of daily specials, and when the suns shining, our deck and Mereside gardens are a wonderful place to sit out and have an al-fresco lunch, or just a few drinks with friends. CAFÉ AND INFORMATION CENTRE For those of you that haven't popped in recently, the information centre now includes the Boathouse Café. Serving a variety of light bites, cakes, and drinks throughout the day from 8.30am till 6pm. We also have a wonderful selection of gifts and treats in our café shop, and Shropshire Wildlife are on hand to give you more information about the flora and fauna of the Mere & surrounding areas. EVENING DINING Lunch is no longer where it ends! We are very proud to announce that the Restaurant is now open on Friday & Saturday evenings for an early evening Supper or Dinner. You can find examples of our menu's on the Boathouse website. We recommend you book if you are coming for dinner but you are always welcome to just drop in for a drink.

Jazz Night with TRIBECA JAZZ Saturday 10th August 2013 Bringing that extra touch of class are Tribeca, a jazz group, comprising of Double Bass, Guitar, Tenor sax and Female vocals. Based collectively between Ellesmere and Chester, they have performed in venues all over the North West, and have also played at jazz and blues festivals up and down the country.
