Latest LADS productions

Message from Marg Kynaston of LADS.

Please find attached poster for our upcoming production 9-11 June at Llanymynech Village Hall.  Another chance to see these two one plays

Burning Questions
Ida is elderly and forgetful.  She lives lone and has a series of people coming in to "help" her from her not-very-caring carer to her hippy social worker and her neighbour who seems overly interested in Ida's medications.  The discovery is made that Ida is being physically abused but who is responsible?  Described as a "drama with funny bits", this play was first aired in 2008.

Vegetable Stew
Had its first outing in 2007.  It is the day of the vegetable show in Little Frickley.  There is great excitement as television cameras are in attendance to capture the event.  Ex-weather girl and would-be national treasure Meredith McLeod is there to present the programme and the prizes but what is her ex husband doing there and why are the two main exhibitors Honor and Lydia at each other's throats?  And is it true that Lembit Opik is just not big enough?! There's more to this than beetroot!

Hope to see you there
