Hi here are a few pics from our ramble at the weekend and some details about the event: This was the second Countryfile Ramble for Children In Need to start from Ruyton XI Towns. 110 ramblers took part in the 5.3 mile walk, on Sunday 15th October, starting in the park, heading over the Cliffe, over Hopton Hill, followed by a loop around Nesscliffe Hill, before retracing our route back to Ruyton XI Towns, for refreshment at the Talbot Inn, where the official Pudsey Bear Mascot was waiting to greet us! I was delighted with the turnout, last year we had around 70 people taking part, so it's great to see that the numbers have grown for this years and that the weather has been kind to us, for the second year running! We have already raised £530, with a few more donations still to come in, which is a fantastic achievement by everyone involved. It was lovely to see so many adults, children and dogs join together for such a brilliant day out and I think most of us are looking forward to doing it all over again next year.
