A Special Book Signing at The Ironworks
On Saturday the 15th of September at 5pm sharp
TERRY WAITE CBE will be available in our Forge Café to chat with our visitors and sign not one, but two, of his latest books, 'Solitude' (2017) and 'Out of Silence' (2016).
'Solitude' (hardback) will be selling for £16.99 and tells a fascinating tale of Waite's personal experience with solitary life, and the stories of those around the world who have also found themselves intentionally or unintentionally isolated from society.
'Out of Silence' (paperback) will be selling for £10.00, a moving anthology of personal poems and reflections detailing Waite's darkest and happiest moments during his life as a humanitarian.
If you wish to purchase both books, you can for a special price of £25.00. Please note that only cash and cheque payments will be accepted.
Unfortunately, Terry will be whisked away at 6pm to prepare for his opening address for our Proms in the Park event, now sold out. So if you want the chance to meet Terry and discuss his newest books, then make sure you grab a cup of brew and get settled in our café before 5pm!
