You can buy tickets onlline for ALL of the performances via the LADS website at  http://www.ladstheatre.co.uk/index.php/buy-tickets The Accrington Pals, written by Peter Whelan and directed by Alison Utting, follows the lives of the women left behind when the 'Pals' go to war and the young men who have set off with excitement and expectation of glory, only to suffer enormous losses on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.  A powerful and moving play full of down to earth characters, laughter and warmth which explores social change, women's independence and a mistrust of propaganda. The Forester's House, written by Neil Rhodes and directed by Pam Johnson, takes you to Ors in France a week before the Armistice.  Wilfred Owen and 7 men from his regiment take shelter in a cellar before their last battle.
