Sadly, there is not going to be an apple festival in Weston Lullingfields this year.
I have arranged with Pentons that they are happy for someone to park on the old Dairy site to collect apples and for people to bring their harvest there.
However,
I have contacted Stonehouse brewery and also Rosie`s Vineyard at Llandegla, North Wales but both use proper cider apples to make their cider.
I have been contacted by someonewho is planning to make cider as a home brew enterprise but that does not take many buckets and baskets of our harvest.
The answer might be for everyone to ask around for more home brew cider makers, including whoever it was in Weston Lullingfields, and find out if they would be interested in coming to Pentons this coming Sunday.
Please help:-
Do you have apples to get rid of?
Do you know anyone who is making their own cider this year? Please get them to get in touch with me.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help ASAP.
Cheers, Yoland
