Barbara Molesworth, well known plantswoman of the Oswestry area, is opening her garden with plant sale in Whittington on Sunday and Monday, 5th and 6th May.
The occasion is also to highlight the 100th anniversary of Save the Children, the charity started by Eglantyne Jebb of Ellesmere to take care of the starving children, initially in Austria, after the First World War. Join `Eglantyne` to hear about her struggle to Save the Children and growing up at The Lyth.
