One on One computer help at the library!
Did you know that we have a team of volunteers who provide one on one IT support for customers at the library? They will sit with you, either using your own device or one of our library computers, and help you to work through whatever issue it is you're having, be it setting up an email address, or learning to navigate your first smartphone. The support is completely free, but MUST be pre-booked as volunteers are available by appointment only. At present, bookable sessions are available each week on a Tuesday morning, Wednesday all day, and Friday morning. Ask staff to book your place.

Learning at Lunchtime: Remember Rememberà with Pam Johnson
Wednesday 16 October 12:30 û 1:30pm
The Gunpowder Plot of 1605 was not just about one disaffected man in the cellars of the Houses of Parliament, but the culmination of a web of intrigue spread across Spain, the north of England and down through Warwickshire to London. Caught up in the treason were acquaintances of William Shakespeare, disaffected Catholics and a network of priests and sympathisers. Were the conspirators simply betrayed or were they led into a trap by the spies of James I? Why is November 5th still remembered? Pam Johnson, from LADS Theatre, explores the Gunpowder plot in more detail. YouÆll never see it the same way again! ú3 per person, please book.
