New Garden - Old Vicarage at Bishop`s Castle SY9 5AF Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday 21, 22, 23 February from 11 to 4 - mature trees, spring flowering shrubs and loads of snowdrops.

New Garden, entry buy pre purchased ticket only, Oakley Park, Ludlow SY8 2JW Sunday 6th September 1-5 - Well-planted borders, rose garden, fern grotto, lake, interesting historical buildings/features. 2 acres of productive walled garden

New garden opens for National Garden Scheme
Details are below of one of our 19 new gardens opening for the National Garden Scheme in Shropshire this year - we do hope you'll continue to support us and help us to achieve another record year of fundraising for our charities. We also have our first ticket only opening in Shropshire - Oakly Park - details below, purchase your tickets now for this unique opportunity to visit one of Shropshire's grandest estates.

NEW GARDEN
The Old Vicarage, Bishops Castle, Church Street, Bishops Castle, SY9 5AF
Open: Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd February
(11-4pm each day)
Just over one and a half acres of garden with lawned areas surrounded by perennial beds and mature shrubs and magnificent trees, ornamental pond, orchard and romantic ruin, fragments of the lost thirteenth century church. Snowdrops abound throughout the garden in February. The garden includes a stained glass studio open as part of the Bishops Castle Arts Festival www.bishopscastleartsfestival.com.

One of Shropshire's magnificent estates, rarely open to the public, named after its centuries-old oak trees. At the confluence of the Rivers Onny & Teme, with extensive views to Ludlow & the south Shropshire Hills. Well-planted borders, rose garden, fern grotto, lake, interesting historical buildings/features. 2 acres of productive walled garden supplying produce to Ludlow Farm shop. 
Refreshments/Accommodation available at The Clive Arms & the Ludlow Kitchen Cafe.
